Is KnowExpense really free?
Yes. Core features are free with no daily limits and no subscription required.
Does KnowExpense move money?
No. KnowExpense records who owes what and helps you settle up by opening a pre-filled Interac e-Transfer email. You send the money yourself through your own bank — KnowExpense never holds or transfers funds.
How do I split a bill?
Create a group, add an expense, and choose how to split it — equally, by percentage, by exact amounts, or by scanning a receipt and assigning items.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile → Advanced → Delete account. This permanently removes your access; shared group history is retained for other members.
How is my data protected?
Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to you and the groups you belong to. See our Privacy Policy for details.
